28-Years-Later

🎬 Anticipation for 28 Years Later

28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, and finally, 28 Years Later! I finally got to see the film.
It's the first sequel in 23 years, and this time, Danny Boyle — who wrote the screenplay for 28 Days Later — returned as the director. Naturally, I had very high expectations.
Honestly, when I first saw the trailer on YouTube, I thought, "Is this really happening?" It felt surreal.

🎥 Movie Impressions

Throughout the film, I was reminded of The Last of Us, and oddly enough, even Midsommar came to mind at times.
There were moments where I could feel that the director really cared about longtime fans.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. But those "ninjas" that showed up at the end… Are they teasing a sequel? That part honestly left me a bit puzzled 😂

💭 Personal Thoughts

The first 20 minutes were absolutely fantastic — the direction, sound design, and atmosphere were all top-notch.
But after that, it felt like the director himself got infected by the rage virus and turned into a zombie — completely losing focus 😢
Still, just being able to watch this series again in theaters after all these years made it a satisfying experience.
